CEMSEA (Colorado EMS Educators Association)

Colorado EMS Educators Association (CEMSEA) Section

The Colorado EMS Educators Association (CEMSEA) is the dedicated section of EMSAC for EMS instructors, trainers, and education coordinators. Formed in 2019, CEMSEA builds community among educators while advancing excellence in EMS training and instruction statewide.

Who We Are

CEMSEA represents EMS educators from across Colorado who are committed to high-quality instruction, innovation in teaching, and continuous professional development. Membership in CEMSEA is included at no additional cost with an active EMSAC membership.

What We Do

CEMSEA provides a statewide forum for EMS educators to:

  • Connect and collaborate with peers on instructional methods, curriculum design, and emerging trends

  • Participate in the annual Colorado EMS Educators Symposium (CEES), which features hands-on workshops, national speakers, and education-focused sessions

  • Share tools, strategies, and best practices to improve the delivery of EMS education

  • Stay up to date on regulatory changes, CE requirements, and educational policy impacting EMS instruction

Leadership & Governance

  • CEMSEA is governed by a board of EMS educators who guide the section’s priorities, programming, and member engagement.

  • The CEMSEA President holds a seat on the EMSAC Board of Directors, ensuring that the voice of educators is heard in association-wide decisions.

Get Involved

If you're an EMS educator and a member of EMSAC, you're automatically part of CEMSEA. We encourage you to attend events, participate in discussions, and help shape the future of EMS education in Colorado.
